The Croaker Festival began forty-five years ago, in Oriental.  It was established to provide opportunities for non-profit organizations to raise funds for various charities in town and around Pamlico County.

Each year, area businesses and organizations generously support the Croaker Festival through sponsorships and advertisements placed in the Croaker Festival Program Guide. The program guide includes a schedule of events, plus information about contests, the parade, entertainment, fireworks display, food and vendors, area businesses, maps, and points of interest.

The guide is a full-color bound booklet distributed throughout Pamlico County. Plus, an additional centerfold-style insert of the guide will be distributed in local newspapers prior to the festival. Guides are placed in the Pamlico County Visitors Center and local businesses. Total distribution is 3000 copies with 2000 distributed locally not including the newspaper insert.

Becoming a Sponsor not only gives you the opportunity to show your support for Pamlico County and of gaining significant visibility through your ad being in the Program Guide distribution, but your business logo will also be prominently displayed on the CroakerFestival.com website.
